FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Everything You Need to Know Before Stepping on Set
How and when do I submit my script sides?
Script sides must be uploaded directly through your booking intake form or emailed to crew@gruffstudios.com in advance of your session. Submitting early allows your assigned reader teammate to break down character choices, pacing, and relationship dynamics before your camera time begins.
What is the studio cancellation and rescheduling policy?
You may reschedule or cancel your session directly through your confirmation link up to 24 hours before your start time for full studio credit or a refund upon request. Bookings cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice are non-refundable, as studio stage time, lighting grids, and readers are locked in advance.
Where is the studio located, and can I bring guests or observers?
We are located at 6565 Sunset Blvd, Suite 410, Los Angeles, CA 90028, and your booking includes 1 free validated parking space inside our building garage off Sunset Blvd. To maintain a quiet, professional environment, outside guests, unapproved crew, and observers are strictly prohibited on set.
How fast do I get my footage, and how long is it stored?
Uncut selects and master edits are uploaded to a private delivery link. Download links remain actively hosted for 14 calendar days post-delivery. Clients are responsible for downloading and archiving their files locally before links expire.
What if I’m working on an NDA-protected studio project or confidential audition?
We treat high-stakes audition sides with complete confidentiality. Simply check the NDA box on your booking form or notify us in writing, and all session footage will remain strictly private and withheld from public studio promotion.
What happens if I’m running late to my session?
Sessions begin and end strictly at scheduled booking times to respect subsequent clients. Late arrivals deduct directly from your available recording time. Arriving more than 15 minutes late without prior notice will forfeit the session and payment.
