RETURNS & EXCHANGES

At Gruff Studios, we build gear for the grind. We want you to be as confident in your kit as you are in your frame. If something isn't right, we’ll fix it. Here is how we handle the logistics so you can get back to work.

PRINT-ON-DEMAND GEAR (The "Set Gear" Line)

The majority of our apparel and hardware is custom-built to order via our production partners at Printful. Because these pieces are manufactured specifically for you, we handle returns based on quality:

  • Damaged or Defective Items: If your gear arrives with a print error, broken hardware, or manufacturing defect, that’s on us. Notify us within 14 days of delivery with a photo of the issue, and we will ship a replacement at zero cost to you.

  • Lost in Transit: If the carrier loses your package, let us know as soon as the estimated delivery date passes. We’ll investigate and get a replacement out to you.

  • Buyer’s Remorse / Sizing: Because every item is custom-made when you hit "buy," we cannot offer general returns or exchanges for sizing errors or change-of-heart. Pro Tip: Check the Sizing Guide on each product page twice before you pull the trigger.

Special Edition & Hand-Shipped Items

For the select items we house, pack, and ship directly from Gruff HQ, the rules are a bit more personal. You’ll know these items because they usually come with a handwritten note or special packaging.

  • 30-Day Exchange: If the fit isn't right on a hand-shipped item, you have 30 days to send it back for an exchange or store credit.

  • Condition: Items must be in "Set-Ready" condition—unworn, unwashed, and with all original tags attached. If it smells like a 12-hour shoot or a wrap party, we can’t take it back.

  • Shipping: You cover the ride back to us; we’ll cover the shipping on the new size heading your way.

HOW TO START A CLAIM

Don't just send stuff into the void. To start a return or report a defect:

  1. Shoot an email to [gruffstudios@gmail.com].

  2. Include your Order Number and the subject line "SET GEAR ISSUE."

  3. Attach photos if the item is damaged.
