STOP WAR, MAKE MORE….ART

Stop making war with yourself and others. Make war with art instead. Art is our interpretation of the truth. Love is truth, and truth is the blank canvas we paint our lies upon.

Truth is the blank canvas we PAINT our lies upon.

If you can tell your version of a "beautiful lie"—one that captures the essence of love and someone sees it and experiences the closest version of truth they can reach through your fiction, you’ve changed their life. You’ve shown them a snapshot of supreme beauty through a lens so well-crafted that it becomes believable.

The reality is, everybody is an artist.

We all move through the world creating our own versions of truth, deciding what to believe and what to discard.

For those who feel imperfect or lost, the task is simply to pick the best lie from the truths another artist has painted.

But there is no point in diluting your art by creating your lie from someone else's. Tell your own version of your truth, but understand it is exactly that: your version.

Tell your own version of your truth, but understand it is exactly that: your version.

In film, we use shadows to define the light. We manipulate grain, color, and sound to manufacture a moment that never happened, all so the audience can feel something undeniably real. If we can all recognize our perceptions for what they are—subjective lies—we stop clinging to them as dogma. We stop fighting so hard to protect a lie.

Real artists know the best part of creating is looking at that blank canvas of love and truth and being excited by the possibilities. I want to tell lies so well that I give people a chance to experience the love and truth I’ve known. If I can give them a peek, it opens the door for them to use their own art to offer a glimpse into heaven.

If I can give them a peek, it opens the door for them to use their own art to offer a glimpse into heaven.

When we stop defending our lies, we can finally start telling the most accurate version of the truth we can experience.

And for those looking for a lie that brings them closer to the light? You’ll be there for them. You’re an artist.

At Gruff, we aren’t just making content; we’re obsessing over the texture of the lie. We’re staring at the blank canvas until it stares back. Grab a camera, pick up a brush, or find a stage. Tell your lie. The world is waiting for your version of the truth.

Don’t be so hard on yourself because you think your lie isn’t good enough. Your lie is the perfect lie to tell to the person who needs to hear it.

If anybody gets in the way of you creating your beautiful art, send them to T Time in Hollywood, and I’ll Gruff them up. Aggressively if need be.

That includes yourself, you beautiful piece of shit.

Don’t believe any of this. It’s all lies.

The "Gruffy" Mascot Tee
from $35.00

THE BUILD

This is the definitive staple of the Gruff Studios wardrobe. Crafted from 100% ring-spun cotton, this tee is engineered for "all-day comfort" whether you’re on a location scout or grinding through a final export. With a lightweight 4.5 oz fabric, shoulder-to-shoulder taping, and double-stitched necklines, it’s built for durability without sacrificing that soft, lived-in feel.

THE DESIGN

This special edition features a premium embroidered Gruff logo on the front for a clean, professional finish, and the full-scale Gruffy "Butterfly" graphic on the back using high-definition DTF Flex printing.

Meet Gruffy, the mascot that embodies the duality of the creative spirit. A skeletal form with a heart of barbed wire, Gruffy is captured in a moment of pure innocence—frolicking after a butterfly. It’s a visual metaphor for the creator's journey: we are all the same in our core, possessing both the ability to love and the power to harm. Gruffy reminds us to remain tender enough to chase the butterfly, but guarded enough to survive the grind.

The Gruff Standard

A reminder of our shared humanity. Gruffy isn't just a mascot—he's a reflection of the G-Squad's ability to protect our art while staying soft enough to create it. Protect the butterfly. Wear the wire.
